The McQuays: Halloween Mix 2022

Friends! Romans! Countrymen! Lend me your ears! IT'S HALLOWEEN TIME!

For TEN years now I have been brewing Halloween mixes on even-numbered years. At this point, these compilations constitute roughly eight and a half hours of peak-quality spook jams to cram into you earholes! In the famous words of Scar, "You'll never go hungry again!"

What wonders, you dare ask, lurk in the mix this time? We've got classics from the likes of The Smiths, The Doors, and Rush! We've got alt rock behemoths Radiohead, Muse, and The Smashing Pumpkins. We've got two songs that you might have heard on the latest season of Stranger Things but which I must point out were added to the list at least a year before those episodes aired (double hipster points!)! We've got 70s soul from The Isley Brothers and Asha Puthli. We almost had Boris the Spider! So jump right in, where this is just a nightmare, where there's blood in the streets up to your ankles, where heads will roll, where you're locked in the footsteps of a rag doll dance, and, ultimately, where it feels so good, baby, coming back to life!
