Brenden: I don't know but I think we should try out the Mahler effect on our kids. And Wagner, too. (Clarification: Not on Wagner but the Wagner effect.)
Me: I don't think we should make them listen to Wagner. I think that's a decision they should make for themselves.
Brenden: BLASPHEMY! We can't leave them to make these decisions on their own. We have to raise them right.
Brenden: (after fixing me a late night grapefruit snack) I licked all your food.
